what to expect before, during, and after booking

Step 1: Inquiring

You've been doing your research and checking out so many photographers, or maybe you haven't and I'm the first one you've landed on! Either way, I am SO GLAD you are here!! I do things a bit different here than the typical photographer around here and I sure hope you love the service I have to offer!

If you are a busy mom or mom-to-be and you are looking for a photographer that can capture your most beautiful and important milestones that your family grows through, and then puts those images into artwork for you to decorate your home with and enjoy with those you love most... then you are in the right place!

My goal is to put your family's most important moments into a piece of art that you can put on your walls or into an album that you will pass onto your children and grandchildren. Your history documented in a beautiful and professional manner in photographs that are printed on archival products for you to look back on for many years to come.

When you submit that form, I will reach out to you via text or phone call so we can get to know each other and talk about what it is that you would like to achieve by working with me.

STEP 2: The consultation

If you decide to book with me, I will send you a booking link to confirm the details. After booking, you have the option to schedule your consultation visit! This is when you and your family can come to the studio to check it out! The kiddos (if you have any) can see where they will get their pictures taken.. this helps calm any fears they may have!

During this time we will also go over all the art products I have to offer, and get an idea of what it is you are looking for for your home.

We will walk through the design details you want for your session as well! This can be choosing colors, checking out the props, accessories, and looking through my client closet.

Now if you can't come to the studio, don't worry!! We can do all of this via zoom as well!

Step 3: The session

Depending on the type of session you have decided to book, the session is the next step! Don't worry, you'll receive a prep guide and/or questionnaire that will go into a lot more detail on the upcoming experience! For now, here is a super quick overview!

If you booked a maternity session, this will be scheduled for when you are 28-34 weeks pregnant or whenever we can get you in depending on when you reach out to me to book! (I get a lot of last minute shoppers! Hey, I totally get it, I do it too lol)

If you booked a newborn session, we will have your due date reserved with your session fee! When baby arrives and you've settled in at home with your sweet new baby, you'll reach out to me to schedule your session when baby is 2-3 weeks new!

If you are booking a family session, we will either meet at the studio or an outdoor location of your choosing and have a super fun filled hour of laughter, running around (outside only lol) and tickling! No seriously.. the best smiles are actual laugher!

Mini sessions are done only at special times of the year and are booked via my online booking catalog! Keep an eye on my socials or sign up for my newsletter to get first dibs on those special dates!

If you are booking a birth story... when you go into labor, you'll reach out to me and I will meet you where you are to document your birth story!

Depending on whatever session you are booking, we will have a great time together!

This is where the magic happens!

IT's time to see your images!

Get excited to see your images!!

This is the absolute best part of it all! This is when you and your family get to see all the best images from your session in a beautiful slide show put to music!

Within a week from your session, we will get together again at the studio (or via zoom if you live too far away or can't come back in even though it's highly encouraged!) so we can go through your beautiful gallery of images together.

After the slideshow, we will go through the images again and this is when you get to select your favorites and narrow down your choices for your chosen products! If you want to display any on your walls, you will get to see mock ups of your very own living space too!

This is when your order will be placed as well so please make sure all the important decision makers within your family unit are present!

Then the wait begins while I edit your chosen images and get your art products ordered!

STEP 4: viewing & ordering appointment

YAY!! It's time to get your art products into your hands and up on your walls!

Your complimentary digital images that match all your art products will be sent to you via an online gallery for you to download within 2 weeks of your viewing and ordering appointment!

The art products that you order will take approximately 3-6 weeks to be made and shipped! Once they are received, I will do my quality checks.

Depending on where you are located, your art products will be available to be picked up at my studio, delivered to your home by me, or shipped to you.
